I decided to make some changes to my old project which I mentioned in a previous post: “An ambush in the forest”.
I will not change much from the program I had established: however, the scene will no longer be set in the Ostermark forest, but near a small village in the sorroundings of the Black Fire Pass, on the side of the Empire. This change was inspired by reading the story "The Mark of Slaneesh" in the book "Trollslayer".

My band of gors, commanded by the bestigor I have already painted, will have just emerged from the woods into the clearing where the village is to plunder it. Unfortunately for them, two heroes, Felix and Gotrek, brought to those parts by their wandering on the return of the Karak Eight Peaks expedition, will be ready to face them.
The pack of beastmen will split: while some will try to obstruct the path of the two travellers, others will begin to loot the first huts on the edge of the village. Further on, two villagers will be watching the scene with concern.
To this general idea I will not add other details because I have yet to define them: I will add them in future posts.
However, I intend to use the diorama technique with removable miniatures for the scenario: I will dig small pits in the ground to fit the bases, which I can then easily remove.

Ho deciso di apportare alcune modifiche al mio vecchio
progetto cui avevo accennato in un post precedente: “Un agguato nella foresta”.
Non cambierò molto rispetto al programma che avevo stabilito: la scena non sarà però più ambientata nella foresta di Ostermark, ma nei pressi di un piccolo centro abitato vicino al Passo della Fiamma nera, sul versante dell’Impero. Questo cambiamento mi è stato ispirato dalla lettura del racconto “Il marchio di Slaneesh” nel libro “Trollslayer”.
Non cambierò molto rispetto al programma che avevo stabilito: la scena non sarà però più ambientata nella foresta di Ostermark, ma nei pressi di un piccolo centro abitato vicino al Passo della Fiamma nera, sul versante dell’Impero. villaggio per saccheggiarlo. Per loro sfortuna, due eroi, Felix e Gotrek,
portati da quelle parti dal loro vagabondare al ritorno della spedizione di
Karak Otto Picchi, saranno pronti ad affrontarli.
La banda di uominibestia si dividerà: mentre alcuni cercheranno di ostacolare il cammino dei due vagabondi, altri inizieranno a saccheggiare le prime capanne al margine del villaggio. Più in là, due paesani osserveranno preoccupati la scena.
A questa idea generale non aggiungo altri dettagli perché devo ancora definirli: li aggiungerò prossimamente in futuri post.
Ho comunque intenzione di usare per lo scenario la tecnica del diorama con miniature rimovibili: scaverò nel terreno piccole fosse a misura delle basette, che poi potrò facilmente rimuovere.
